Star Wars - Episode IV - Trailer (original 1977)

Star wars the original trailer. First time I see it. Very nice, old fashioned science fiction. I remember watching these movies over and over again when i was a kid. I was afraid of Darth Vader, who now became one of my favorite characters of all times.

As long as governments and religions will refuse to defeat death scientifically through stem cells therapies and Nanobots the best way to eradicate death will be to stop giving life!

Naomi Watts Joins 'J. Edgar' Hoover Cast

Naomi Watts Joins 'J. Edgar' Hoover Cast

I wish her the best of luck!

EXCLUSIVE: Naomi Watts has signed on to star in J. Edgar, the Clint Eastwood-directed biopic. Watts will play Helen Gandy, J. Edgar Hoover’s loyal secretary for 54 years. Hoover (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) called her indispensible and she was the ultimate keeper of his secrets and a behind the scenes influence on the workings of the FBI. After Hoover died, Gandy spent weeks destroying his personal file, which contained the incriminating material that he used to manipulate and control the most powerful figures in D.C. Imagine’s Brian Grazer and Ron Howard are producing with Eastwood and his Malpaso partner Rob Lorenz.

Watts takes the role that Charlize Theron was once expected to play, before she moved on to play the Evil Queen in Snow White and the Huntsman and to likely be in the cast of the Ridley Scott-directed Prometheus. Watts had been the frontrunner, but the studio considered other actresses because…

I wanted to recommend this fabulous tv show! A cross between Tim Burton's films and Amelie! It's good to see something so creative! Highly enjoyable!

I love the atmosphere- very cheerful-all the characters who are extremely original the music, the colored costumes and the sets.
The best American TV show in years. And good American Tv show have been  rare in recent years.
Found this picture of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, certainly photoshoped by fans, but I liked it! I think Nolan's cat will be very different from Burton's envision and I believe the director will opt for the burglar version of Selina Kyle as opposed to the secretary seeking revenge in Burton's version.

The Godzilla Remake Gets a Teaser Poster |

The Godzilla Remake Gets a Teaser Poster |

Indispensable this new remake of Godzilla! The last one was made in 1998! What about remaking Avatar, or Inception, come on dear Hollywood studios, these movies were made several months ago, you're becoming lax!

Seriously! I think audience wants to see fresh stories and we all know there are plenty of talented struggling screenwriters out there!
It's pathetic!

Here are the latest screenplays sales in Hollywood, remakes, sequels adaptations, another remake of Godzilla (the last one was made in 1998) and a biblical tale in 2011! Please give me a cord so I hang myself! Cinema is not dead yet but it’s definitely running out of breath !

Anne Hathaway Rises as Catwoman in Nolan's Next Dark Knight: Right Pick? - Thompson on Hollywood

Anne Hathaway Is Catwoman

Well, that settles that, then. Warner Bros. has just announced that Anne Hathaway has won the race to star in The Dark Knight Rises... as Selina Kyle. Also known as Catwoman. “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story," said director Christopher Nolan in a press release.

And, in the same release, WB and Christopher Nolan confirmed that the role Tom Hardy will play in the eagerly-awaited Batman threequel is Bane, the muscle-bound super-steroidal freak who, in the comics, once broke Batman's back. “I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman’s most formidable enemies.”

This represents a flood of information for a Christopher Nolan Bat-movie, and gives us plenty to chew on. We can't …

To me robots are the next step in evolution, as a matter of fact, human beings have ceased to evolve.

I’d rather meet some artificial intelligences than no intelligence at all.

Wonderful picture found online.

Actress Faye Dunaway, who is 70 today. One of the greatest talent and most beautiful women ever to grace the screen.

Just received this message from actress Maria Olsen:

I've recently finished reading Bloodthirsty and I LOVE the concept of the movie =)

I found it to be extremely visual - ie I could picture everything completely clearly as I was reading it - and this is, to me, a very important factor for film, which is a very visual medium. I felt it had an "old-world" horror feel and that it would benefit from being produced with a look that pays homage to the older werewolf films but is very sumptuous and splendid - something like Hammer Horror cross The Company of Wolves with a little bit of Underworld thrown in, if that makes any sense =)

Script for 'Ghostbusters 3' 'is complete'Sunday, January 9 2011, 06:18 GMTBy Tom Ayres, Comics Reporter

Screenwriter and director Ivan Reitman has confirmed that a treatment for Ghostbusters 3 has now been completed.
According to the Associated Press, a "very good script" for the third film has been sent to series star Bill Murray to read.
The report claims that although Murray has yet to read it, Reitman believes that the script is exactly what they have been looking for.
The director, who helmed the first two films in the Ghostbusters series, is also known for family comedies such as Twins and Junior.
Production on a third Ghostbusters film has been in various stages of development since the release of Ghostbusters 2 back in 1989, but several issues have previously stopped the project getting underway.

Showbiz - News - Pete Postlethwaite dies aged 64 - Digital Spy

Wonderful actor Pete Postlethwaite died from cancer at age 64, victim of the dark ages (a time in humanity history where humans where aging and dying)

Happy new year 2011, welcome to a new year where nothing changes, where RELIGIONS KEEP REFRAINING SCIENCE FROM DEFEATING DEATH, where crimes against humanity are still committed and accepted as a "natural thing"! (the new word for religion is ethic and sometimes nature)
That's one of the reasons why you won't see me wishing "happy new yearé on this blog, the new year thing is a joke! Nothing is new in this world, all is old, and doomed to extinction.
