SNOW WHITE-SEEING SNOW WHITE FOR THE FIRST TIME

 

 

 

For three days before the wedding, Astrid watched the child   cleaning the palace stairs and talking to the birds by the well, where she lifted a bucket of water heavier than herself.

At night she heard the same child's cry echoing in that room at the end of the corridor.  She recognized this noise again, it    was that of extreme moral suffering.
