I was truly moved by that film. I'm glad it wasn't one
of those dumb and brainless
action movies
Hollywood usually produces.
(You know I'm more focused
on characters than gunfights
and car chases)
The connection between
Adrien Brody's character
and the dog is heartbreaking.
The last scene is truly touching
(animals always
know when people love them
and when someone doesn't
want to hurt them)
A very underrated film,
which deserves more credits,
with a beautiful sublot clearly
condemning dog fights
and animal abuse, the robbery serving only as
a pretext for this face
to face between the main
character
(a thief but an animal lover)
and the abused dog.
The last scene made me cry.
A superb love letter to animals.
Jordan.
