Received this email from a friend whose high school neighbor is fostering this poor baby. Please share, so we can try to find a home for "Pedro!"

"Pedro" is an approximately nine year old standard poodle whose family
had to give him up because the mother is terminally ill. He has lived
with small children and is reported good with them. He likes other
dogs and wants to play although, like any distinguished gentleman,
feels that puppy antics can be a bit much. He loves to go outside but
is very mellow indoors. He has basic training although he understands
hand signals better than words; he may do better with Spanish
commands. A friend has pledged to cover the costs of his neutering and
bringing him up to date on veterinary care. He will be cat tested
soon. If you can give Pedro a foster or forever home please email or
