SCREENWRITING TIP

A screenwriter does not raise funding, a producer does that! 
If a screenwriter deals with raising funding then he/she must be credited with « produced by » and paid for that position.

If a producer asks you to raise funding you can ask them, «  if I raise funding, attach the talents, then why should you be credited with « produced by », except if we add lazy before your name… »produced by LAZY HARRY… » for instance.
